25 Things I Never Get Tired Of, In No Particular Order

1. Finishing the last bit of my homework.
2. Lying down for a nap secure in the knowledge that I have nothing to do and nowhere to be.
3. Chocolate, my god, chocolate. :D In any form.
4. Late night phone calls with people I love.
5. When I'm wrapped up in blankets at night while the air conditioner is running and there's complete silence except for the sound of the rain and my breathing.
6. The feeling I get after I've read a good book and want to read it again.
   
7. The smell of a new book. ♥
8. The way the sky at night (when you can see the stars) makes me feel like the most insignificant thing in the world.
9. Walks and talks with friends when there seems to be no end of things to talk about.
10. Baking for people I care about.
11. Comfortable silences
12. Grilled cheese sandwiches.
13. Listening to people's dreams, whether it's the ones they have while sleeping or the real ones that they want to achieve someday.
14. Bookstores that sell really old books, or used books, the small cramped sort where there's not much place to move.
15. Wandering around a big library.
16. Music. Music that moves me and brings me to tears, music that makes me smile, music that I listen to and feel an irresistible urge to play on the piano..
    
17. Watching someone I love paint, read, study, write, etc.
18. Reading evocative writing.
19. The beauty you find in everything, if you look close enough
20. Doing anonymous good deeds and seeing the look of pleased surprise on the faces of people you do them for.
21. People-watching; street photography.
22. Someone special saying 'I love you'. I know it's always sincere.
    
23. Cold scenery.
24. The smell of coffee brewing. Well, I love coffee, hehe.
25. Saying thank you and really meaning it.

i'll be honest with you guys la. i'm not feeling very good nowadays. life in general is giving me a lot of shit. i envy those of you who have the time to moan and gripe and get all riled up about trivial things like boyfriends and school, because it usually means you don't have any real problems to cry over.

playing around with my new phone's camera today, lighting etc. but the last two shots are from my old phone.

still so happy i could burst hehe. but the happiness is tinged with a bit of sorrow, because what i'm sad about is inevitable.

so why do people tend to like blogs with pictures more than wordy blogs.

WHY?
i TELL YOU WHY.

coz you don't need to READ blogs with alot of pictures!! when you look at a picture you don't need to think right, you just see and go "oh look it's xxx and xxx" RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT. dont tell me im wrong. i dont care anyway.

ANYWAY.

you see right. blogs with alot of words and few pictures (sometimes like mine) (alot of times like xxxxxx and xxxxx ya no names later i kena killed) (but then not like i'm insulting them also) (aiya whatever) where was i

blogs with alot of words and few pictures tend to be harder to take in. like you see one damn kao big chunk of words of course you'd be intimidated right. RIGHT. ok maybe not all of you. but lets say i never paragraph my words. AH THEN. WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW WHAT A PARAGRAPH IS?? then you sure duwan to read. and what if i use proper proper super the kao proper english with big words and alot of nonsense. maybe you read la if you read hazim's blog :P but half the time you won't understand then what is the point! a blog is either for YOURSELF (in which case you shouldn't be caring whether or not people like your bombastic words or infinite pictures) or for OTHER PEOPLE.

and if you write for other people then write it in a way that they'll understand la! no offense to hazim lol his posts too random to be considered in the incomprehensible category.

if you look at someone's blog, and you think "eh so many words, lazy to read" then you skip skip skip, then after a while you won't really bother reading ANY of the posts right. i mean basically to you they're all the same. like i don't bother reading khei qi's blog anymore coz it's all i woke up i shit i bathe i go lepak i sleep -

whats the point! i know you DO do those things of course so you can mention la, but dunnid to go into so much detail right. not specifically khei qi but quite alot of other 'bloggers'. basically their blogs are all "oh so first right we went to ou then we dunno what to do you know so we stand around for a while lor then xxx said eh why not go to *** so ok lor we went lor then right xxxx said that xxx broke up with xxxxxx then xx was like blablabla zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" SO BORING OMG CAN DIE KTHX.

im not saying my blog is like The One Blog or anything la. but at least i dont always post about what i did on a particular day right. unless i went to a concert and am doing a recap or something then that's different. like the explosions in the sky concert which I DIDNT GO TO omg regret regret. damnit la why i cannot go omg it was EITS and i didn't go what nonsense is this what kind of a fan am i oh whoops offtopic again.

you see, blogs with pictures relieve boredom. they make the reader INTERESTED. SEE ALL THE PRETTY COLOURS AND LIGHTS ZOMG SHINY! yes we are simple-minded. what to do. :P it's nice to read these blogs once in a while when philosophical cheem things get abit too much (for me la). but since i really like reading, wordy blogs don't faze me at all. not so for people who DON'T like reading. ah now that is the problem.

most teenagers nowadays don't know the first thing about books. NO, twilight is not counted. yes, it may be a book, it might even be a good one (omg no please never call that piece of thing masquerading as a book GOOD WRITING) but it is just ONE book. harry potter has already been made into a movie and i KNOW alot of people who've watched the movies have never picked up the book. some people didnt even know the golden compass was a book but i digress. see because alot of blogders (a.k.a. blog readers - xiaxue coined this word lawl) don't really read alot of genres, we depend more on other things to catch our attention. words are boring, rite? give me pictures! colour! LIFE!

you see i posted a post with 3 pictures below there, all my baby pictures. SO MANY (well, no, but relatively la) COMMENTS ON MY TAGBOARD. it's true that pictures speak a thousand words, but that's in the case of pictures like the ones i posted! i'm letting you see what i was like as a kid (yeah i was such a cute widdle baby o yes i was ngeehehehe) so it means something. do all your camwhore photos mean something :P do i really need to see ten billion pictures of you in different poses?! yeah sure they look nice, but it's overkill man. i don't want to scroll down down down down down OMG WHEN IS THIS ENDING down down down wtf??? down down down down DOWN and in the end i just get fed up and i close the fucking thing.

ok anywaaaaaaaay, we can put it like this la.

wordy blogs attract people who like to read substantial things, who don't just want to see pretty pictures and then be on their way gaining nothing but the knowledge that you've been clubbing during the weekend. though wordy blogs can be funny and mo liu also la, like mine, because the author is too lazy to upload and post pictures. but those kind of blogs are in a category of their own: talk cock blogs :P

picture-filled blogs are for people who don't want to think too much in their free time. they want to get the gist of what you've been doing then move on to the next picture-filled blog.

yeah i'm generalizing alot but that's basically it. there can be a combination of both kinds, which i am. well im a combination of everything la. remember that colour test organized by kelab kerjaya which you're supposed to be like blue green orange or gold personality or something like that? yeah i got an even score for everything, that is to say, 13 for each of the colours. so im a chameleon. KARMA KARMA KARMA KARMA KARMA CHAMELEOOON

there's a common perception that picture-filled blogs are more popular than others, and yes this may be true. but why? not because the blogs are BETTER overall but simply because more people like to see nice clothes and pretty people. im sure sometimes you're too tired to think and you just glance at all the pictures as you scroll and file information gleaned from the photographs away in your mind to be talked about the next time you meet up with a particular friend. sometimes you just... really don't want to think lol. you want to read, laugh, finish. end. no lengthy pondering on the meaning of life, the meaning of love, the meaning of existence or other things.

so what do you like? if you like my post then you're weird la coz my post is so ... druggie-ish. lulz.

god i should really post a proper post sometime soon. hahaha. all rubbishlah my blog.

one of the things i'd like to do before i'm twenty-one is to go to an upscale restaurant with just one person. doesn't have to be a boyfriend, it could just be a close friend. i want to eat a 10 course meal like the French do haha. i want to tip the waiter nicely and talk to him/her and other things like that. i want to enjoy my time with the person i go with.
